The vibe
Acacia Bay sits on the western side of Taupō's main bay, a few minutes' drive from town but with a quieter, holiday feel. The jetties are the heart of it in summer.
Homes climb the hillside, so many look east over the water towards town and the sunrise, and west for the sunsets.
